Letters that meet one or more of the non-machinable characteristics below are subject to the non-machinable surcharge. If your package does meet one of the following criteria, please select the check-box next to odd-shaped in the previous screen to assure proper delivery of your item. For items over 3.5 ounces, see Large Envelope or Package.
The serial number is pre-printed on each label on a sheet or roll of NetStamps. Each sheet or roll has its own unique number. For sheets, you can find the serial number in the top right corner of the sheet. For rolls, you can find the serial number on each NetStamps label.
On some NetStamps label sheets and rolls, the serial number is followed by a 2 or 3-digit label number. The numbers to enter into the Serial Number field when printing NetStamps are only the numbers that come BEFORE this label number. It is important that the number entered in the Serial Number field matches the number that is pre-printed on the sheet NetStamps labels. If you print on a label where the numbers do not match, the NetStamps label will not be valid to use as postage.
Stamps.com tracks the number of available, unused stamps on a NetStamps sheet. If you need to print more than what we are showing as available, please load a new sheet into the printer and enter a new serial number. If you wish to simply override the number available on the current sheet, you can do that on the last step of the Postage Wizard, after you click Print Now.
For envelopes, length refers to the side that is parallel to the address.

The email lists the delivery address and the postage options used for the package, such as mail class and special services. It also includes a link with the confirmation number, so that the recipient can verify delivery status. To email recipient, simply check the Email Recipient checkbox and enter a valid email address.
